Exchange digital business card with iOS shortcut directly via the iPhone home screen

In today's blog article, we'll show you how you can open your digital oneVcard business card directly from your iPhone home screen in just a few simple steps and share it using a QR code.

If you already have the oneVcard app installed on your iPhone, you can exchange your contact details very quickly. The variant presented here is therefore not a replacement, but a supplement. :-)

The setup is completed in just a few simple steps. This is how it works:

1. log in via onevcard and switch to the digital business card you want to share directly from the iPhone / iPad home screen.

2. now click on "Share" and select "Copy" in the iPhone Share menu

3. then download the shortcut prepared by us to your iPhone or Mac with M1 processor. To do this, follow the link below: https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/04872790cc224fd9bb19908f656d6fb5

Alternatively, you can also scan this QR code directly with your iPhone.

4. now click on "Configure shortcut" and paste the URL of your digital business card that you have just copied. Then click on "Done" and finally on "Add shortcut".

5. to add the shortcut to the home screen, click on the 3-dot menu on the shortcut you have just created and on the blue "Settings" button at the top right. Now select "Add to home screen".

6. choose a name and add the shortcut to the home screen.

7. the shortcut is now on your home screen and ready to use.

Now you can open the appropriate QR code for your digital business card by clicking on the icon. When you scan it, your digital business card will open in the same way as the QR code from the app. From here, you can directly access your social media channels or save contact details.
