The challenge: Outdated methods and inefficient processes

Before the changeover, Innovexa Solutions employees used physical paper business cards, which led to several problems. This method proved to be inefficient and cumbersome:

As Innovexa Solutions only uses Apple devices such as iPhones, the decision was quickly made: The company opted for the integration of digital business cards via Apple Wallet. The choice fell on oneVcard as the provider for managing the digital cards. The reasons for this decision were:

• Single sign-on (SSO) via Microsoft: All 150 employees can log in using the company's existing Microsoft account, enabling seamless authentication.
• Integration with Microsoft Azure: Employee data is automatically synchronized with oneVcard via the Azure interface. As soon as a new employee is created in the system, their business card is automatically created and made available to the user.
• Automatic updates: Changes in contact details, e.g. position, email or telephone number are synchronized immediately so that the digital business cards are always up to date.

"The decision was a big step towards automation and digitalization. All data is synchronized directly from Microsoft Azure, which relieves us of manual administration," explains Claudia Fischer, who was responsible for the implementation of this project.

The implementation: Smooth introduction for 150 employees

The implementation went smoothly, as Innovexa Solutions was already using Apple products throughout the company. Employees automatically received their digital business cards by email without having to do anything themselves. Users can log in via the company-wide "SingleSignOn". There is no need to manage another password. The entire process - from adding new employees to providing and updating the business cards - takes place via oneVcard's Azure interface.

"Thanks to the integration with Microsoft Azure, everything is done automatically. New business cards are created and are immediately available to employees. Changes are also applied immediately - we no longer have to worry about anything," Fischer continues.

The results: Efficient, modern and sustainable

After six months of using Apple Wallet for digital business cards, Innovexa Solutions has seen significant benefits:

• Increased efficiency: The entire process of creating and managing business cards is automated. The IT team no longer has to do any manual work and employees receive their cards immediately on their iPhones.
• Seamless use through Apple Wallet: As the company only uses Apple devices, the introduction of digital business cards in Apple Wallet was the perfect solution. Employees can access and share their business cards at any time with a double-click on the side button.
• Always up to date: Thanks to the integration with Microsoft Azure, the business cards are always up to date. As soon as positions or contact details change, this is automatically updated on the digital business cards.
• Sustainability: Innovexa Solutions has completely eliminated the printing process by switching to digital business cards, which has a positive impact on the environmental footprint.
